Traditional Chinese zither (guzheng, 古筝), played live for weddings, hotels, mall exhibitions, cultural and various events across Indonesia. One of the few guzheng (古筝) performers based outside Java's coastal cities.

Sings cross-cultural repertoire in Indonesian, Western, Latin, Javanese, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, and Cantonese.

Fanny Yu is the first Indonesian guzheng (古筝) and classical Broadway multi-lingual singer, carrying many cultures in a single voice. She plays in the spirit of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, unity in diversity, holding that where cultures meet, a nation is drawn closer, and that this belief sits close to the heart of Pancasila and a united Indonesia.

The guzheng (古筝) is a 21-string Chinese zither, plucked by hand across a curved wooden body. It's rare in Indonesia outside a handful of cities, rarer still in Yogyakarta.

Fanny performs it solo, in duet, or alongside a full band or mini-orchestra, all paired with her own vocals. Repertoire spans Disney and Broadway, classical, and movie soundtracks, plus K-pop, J-pop, C-pop, dangdut koplo, and sinden. She also teaches privately or in small groups, for those who want to learn the instrument themselves.
